The construction industry is booming. In the next decade over 60,000 new homes are expected to be built in our area alone. That’s why The Marches Construction Ready Partnership is providing a pathway to help more local people benefit from jobs in the construction sector.

The Construction Ready Programme will offer:

  • Help for 400 people to get into construction
  • Free training so that every candidate is:
    • Work Ready
    • Site Ready
    • Skills Ready
  • Guaranteed work placements that can lead to jobs or apprenticeships
  • Individual support, advice and mentoring so you can achieve your goals

This programme is suitable for those entering the industry for the first time or who are returning after a break.

Funded by the Department for Education working with The Construction Industry Training Board (CITB), the Construction Ready Programme operates across Telford, Shropshire and Herefordshire from early 2019 to April 2020.
